Date and Nut Tarts


Dough
1 Lb. Oleo
5 Cups Flour
5 Tbs. Sugar
4 Egg Yolks
1 Tsp. Vanilla
8 Tbs. Sour Cream
Filling
1/2 Lb. Finely Chopped Dates
1 Cup Finely Chopped Nuts
1 Cup Sugar
3/4 Cup Milk

Mix oleo, flour, sugar, add eggs, sour cream and vanilla.
Refrigerate dough overnight.
Mix filling together and cook for five minutes.
Roll dough on powdered sugar.
Cut dough with round cookie cutter.
Place filling on dough and fold dough in half.
Bake at 350 degrees.
